Garden of Venus

Apollo Gallery’s first opening exhibition pays tribute to the powerful, complex voices of 12 lyrical artists. Through the presented works, personal stories, women’s fates, and mythological visions come to life. The various personal narratives of the inescapable characters of the Hungarian artistic canon flowing through collective history, and the metaphorical, symbolic representations together with the youngest generation of artists aims to create the continuity of art history with artistic positions and programs that are less heard in a heteronormative patriarchal society.
