OLÁH Norbert

Norbert Oláh is a painter and recipient of the Béla Gruber Award and the Józsefváros Award for Culture. He graduated from the Hungarian University of Fine Arts in 2016 with a degree in painting. His work explores the intersections of identity, Roma experience, power structures, and institutional critique. His artistic practice has been presented through acclaimed exhibitions and art education projects both in Hungary and internationally. His works have been exhibited at OFF-Biennale Budapest, Parallel Vienna Art Fair, and the Ludwig Museum – Museum of Contemporary Art. He is a regular exhibitor at Hungarian galleries and art fairs. He is also a founding member of the Roma-Dadaist group Cigánybűnözők.
