RÉSZEGH Botond

Botond Részegh lives and works in Miercurea Ciuc and Budapest.

From 2018 to 2024 he was represented by the Yi Gallery in New York. Since 2011, he has served as the Art Director of the Új Kriterion / New Criterion Gallery in Miercurea Ciuc, where the works of 74 Hungarian and Romanian artists have been exhibited, each accompanied by a dedicated catalogue.

In 2018 he was awarded a scholarship by the Hungarian Academy of Arts (HAA). That same year he participated in a panel discussion at TEDxDanubia, alongside CsabaPléh.

In 2022 he curated the exhibition “BarabasiLAB (Barabási Albert- László) Hidden Patterns” at the Szekler Museum of Ciuc, followed by its presentation at the Mureş County Museum in 2023.

Botond Részegh made his debut in 2001 at the University of Arts in Bucharest.
